Description
BEFORE BEGINNING THE APPLICATION PROCESS, READ THE FULL ANNOUNCEMENT LOCATED ON THE FULL ANNOUNCEMENT TAB. The CDLPI grant provides financial assistance to improve compliance with the Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Act of 1986 and its amending legislation; improve the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of driver history record information exchange; improve CDL knowledge and skills testing efforts; prevent and detect fraud in the CDL program; expand judicial outreach; and improve the accuracy of existing driver data. Eligible awardees of CDLPI funding for high priority activities and emerging issues grants can include: State agencies, local governments, and other persons.
