The Waterand Energy for Food (“WE4F”) challenge fund is a partnership between Swedenthrough the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), the U.S.Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Ministry of ForeignAffairs of the Government of the Netherlands (hereafter the founding partners). ThroughWE4F, the partners want to expand the sustainable scale of innovations thatimpact the sectors food and water, food and energy or all three sectors of thenexus (food, water, energy) to increase the sustainability of agricultural foodvalue chains, improving energy and water efficiency, as well as to improveclimate resilient agriculture in developing countries and emerging markets inaccordance with the SDGs, with a particular focus on the poor and women
