2020 CTR Countering the Proliferation of Advanced Conventional Weapons to States of Proliferation Concern
Description
ISN/CTR seeks to prevent proliferator states from selling destabilizing advanced conventional weapons to states of proliferation concern (e.g. Iran, Syria, Venezuela, etc.) that threaten U.S. national security and nonproliferation interests. Proliferator states use revenues generated from advanced conventional weapons sales to fund malign activities, increase their influence, and develop newer, even more deadly weapons for use against the U.S. homeland and allies.
