The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $15,000,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds.This NOFO aims to identify and implement interventions that will contribute to a stable platform of essential health care service delivery in order to ensure ongoing, comprehensive, and evidence-based HIV and TB prevention, care, support, and treatment interventions in high-risk geographic zones of Mozambique. Included is support for the following areas: human resources for health (HRH); care and treatment (C&T) of people living with HIV (PLHIV) and TB; gender-based violence (GBV); positive health, dignity, and prevention (PHDP); health system strengthening; laboratory; data quality assessments; health communication; and other technical areas that are critical to ensuring that PEPFAR service provision goals are achieved in zones where clinical and public health platforms are frequently at risk of disruption. The recipient(s) will be expected to provide technical assistance (TA) and capacity building to host governmental institutions, other stakeholders/partners involved in providing essential primary health care (with a focus on HIV and TB programs), and public health services in Mozambique. Implementation will be at national, provincial, district, and sub-district levels. These activities will be implemented in high-risk geographic zones within the various provinces of Mozambique that are frequently prone to instability and displacement due to climate-related disasters or political insecurity.
