The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $15,000,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds.This NOFO seeks to consolidate and sustain progress achieved so far in Nigeria by supporting a range of health system strengthening (HSS) initiatives for enhanced management and delivery of quality HIV programs and other disease programs in Nigeria. The scope of work includes initiatives for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Surveillance, Health Informatics (HI) and Laboratory Quality Management. This NOFO will support the implementation of several evaluations and surveys. Evaluations will target the HIV program cascade - prevention, care and treatment, and laboratory management – among general and key populations (KP). The recipient(s) will develop a framework to mainstream CQI and Data Quality Assessment/Improvement (DQA/I) in PEPFAR supported health facilities in collaboration with comprehensive service delivery partners. The recipient(s) will support the host government to develop relevant governance frameworks for strengthening the country’s Health Information/Informatics Systems (HIS). This NOFO will support the implementation and maintenance of relevant HI platforms that include the National Data Repository (NDR), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), etc. This NOFO will also support laboratories for accreditation and quality management. The NOFO’s focus on HSS will contribute towards the national effort to achieve and sustain HIV epidemic control in Nigeria.
